"long will I remember the rainy day I threatened to kill my computer. 'Slaughter' might be a better word ... It didn't care. It didn't give font. It just sat there thumbing it's icons at me. I told it passionately that I would beat the living gigs and glitches out of it, heave it onto the mountain of forgotten faults and buy a new one. The bastard knew I couldn't afford to. It watched me make the call, the smug little s***. My heart fell several stories when I opened the door to a kid that should have been on a skate-board wearing his pants around his ankles and a tea-shirt saying " f -u, ' in a hoodie and wolfing a double vanilla with passion fruit. He wasn't. He was the world’s greatest geek, disguised as an idiot. I let him in reluctantly. My computer s*** several digits as he took out his gadgets and gizmos like a surgeon about to perform a minor operation on a dinosaur. Minutes later the little s*** was purring like a kitten with a kipper. They were mates - the geek from gizmo and my totally chuffed computer. We've been friends ever since ... Me and my machine - because the cunning little bastard knows I can always ring a geek from gizmo. He's my mate too. "

Good afternoon, Firstly I would like to commend your company on its outstanding customer service, a Tech was due to arrive at 11.00 but was caught in traffic, I received a call from your call centre advising me that he was going to be late. I would also like to take the opportunity to commend your tech Raymond Lam. Raymond has been at my house all day fixing my computer which had alot of virus's. He was going to take it away and then come back tomorrow, but after I explained that I really needed my computer for my CIT research, he kindly stayed. I would have allowed the computer to be taken away if I really had to, but I didn't have to worry in the end. I believe Raymond has gone beyond the call of duty.He could have quite rightly taken the computer and returned the next day. At one point point he said he would stay up all night restoring my computer if needed, just so I could have it for my work. Something which I felt was way beyond the customer expectations. He is clearly a hard working man,passionate about his work and takes immense pride in his work. He is an asset to your team, I am most impressed and will not hesitate to recommend Gizmo and Raymond to anyone. Please pass on my commendations to Raymond.

Hi There, Had trouble with our computer yesterday rung AAPT unable to fix the problem after nearly one hour Shaun from AAPT put me in touch with you spoke to someone who had Raymond here under 2 hours. Well he found a lot of things wrong replaced a few things and uninstalled a couple of programmes. We can say the computer has never been this good before. What about protecting the data on my PC?

Doing any kind of technical work on a computer involves some risk of losing data. Because there is no way to 100% guarantee data protection, we strongly recommend that you back up all your information before we arrive. We also offer a full back up service if you need a hand. We also ask you to sign a disclaimer about data before we can start work.

What do I need to know before I have a gizmotech visit my home?

An adult (18 years or older) needs to be around the whole time that your gizmotech is at work. We'll need access to your gear and a safe place to work. We'll also need you there to answer any questions about your solution.

What can I expect of the gizmotech who comes to my home?

Your gizmotech will arrive in uniform and identify themselves as a member of the gizmo team. They will start by running through a few questions to work out the best approach to your solution, before confirming the quoted price for the work and ask you to agree to the solution. You'll find our gizmotechs friendly, professional and polite.

How do I pay?

For convenience, speed and security, we take most major credit cards. When you call to book we will ask for your credit card details. Once the service is complete, we will process the payment and email you an invoice. There is no charge for the initial phone assessment of your requirements.

What if I need you to do more than one service?

If you need extra services while we're at your place, simply pay for one and get any other services you like (of equal or lower value) for 30% off! This discount only applies to services performed on the same day.

If you are having a job performed remotely over the phone, additional services are entitled to a 30% discount if also booked and performed on the same day.

How much do your services cost?

Whether you need a gizmotech to come to your place or a quick fix over the phone, gizmo makes it fast, simple and cost-effective with flat rates and a No Fix No Fee guarantee. Click here to view our full price list.

Do you offer computer training?

While we don't offer formal training courses, we do have our handy Show Me service that is a package designed to help you learn more about using almost anything related to computers, gadgets and technology. You tell us something you'd love to be able to do, and we'll come to your place and show you how.

Do you sell hardware components and software?

Yes. We sell and carry a range of leading hardware components and selected software brands at competitive prices. You can purchase these from us, or we are also happy to install and support most software purchased from your preferred retailer.

What do your fixed rate prices include?

Prices cover labour only (i.e. they do not include hardware or software) and prices are fixed regardless of how long we spend. We also offer a No Fix No Fee Guarantee so you only pay if we can solve your issue.

What if I really don't know what the problem is?

Our You Tell Me service may be the best place to start. We come to you, review your system and recommend the best service for you. If you decide to go ahead while we're there, we'll deduct the cost of the original review from your bill - so you only pay for the exact service you need!

Are there services you don't offer?

For the moment we don't offer support for businesses with over 5 computers or older versions of Microsoft Windows (apart from upgrades to XP). We apologise if this inconveniences you, but stay tuned because we're working on it! Also, gizmotechs aren't equipped to carry out electrical work, do extensive cabling or affix gadgets to walls. For this sort of work we recommend asking your local tradesperson.

What services do you provide?

Our major support services include Set Ups, Home Networking, Repairs, Web & Email Security, Data Backup and Advisory, but if it's something that involves a computer, chances are we can help. Just get in touch and we can chat about what you need.
